Poppy Panels started with creative sewing projects for babies and children, including playmats, baby gym accessories and other practical projects. Over the years, the collection continued to grow with new ideas such as Christmas decorations, dollhouses and dress-up panels, allowing the printed fabric to be transformed into complete costumes and creative projects for children to enjoy.
Today, Poppy Panels has developed into a much broader DIY collection. Alongside our growing range for babies and children, you can now discover bag panels, accessories and interior projects, offering even more ways to turn one printed fabric panel into a complete sewing project.
One of the biggest new additions is our range of DIY shopper panels. Create a reversible shopper, a shopper with matching smaller pouches, or choose between making a shopper or a set of cushions from one design.
Embroidery also features within the collection: one panel includes printed sections for cross-stitch embroidery, while another leaves space for you to add your own embroidery. It is an easy way to give each finished project an extra personal touch.
The idea behind a Poppy Panel is simple: all the fabric you need for the project is printed directly onto one panel. Cut out the pieces, follow the instructions and add a few notions where needed. This makes it straightforward to complete a full sewing project without needing a separate pattern or sourcing fabrics.
