What began as a brand specialising in children’s fabrics has, over the past decade, evolved into a favourite among sewing enthusiasts, building a loyal and enthusiastic community along the way.
Poppy Fabrics has long been known for its modern prints on the finest fabric qualities. The fabric collections feature the most colourful, playful, and cheerful designs, all while staying on-trend. These fabrics are not only beautiful but also high quality, ensuring they’ll last for years to come.
From Magazine to Community
To promote these fabrics, Poppy Magazine was created, aiming to showcase the wonderful Poppy collection with children’s patterns. Now, 10 years later, the sewing community has grown and diversified, inspiring us to include women’s patterns.
A New Chapter: Poppy Meets Pommé
First came the addition of two women’s patterns in Poppy, followed by the special edition Pommé, and now the full integration with Poppy Magazine. New look, format, and name, but the same trusted quality: Edition 24 combines the best of Poppy and Pommé.
In previous issues of Poppy Magazine, several women’s patterns were introduced, and due to their popularity, we launched a special women’s edition, Pommé, to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The positive response and growing demand inspired us to merge the best of both magazines into Poppy Meets Pommé.
Discover Your Favourites
This refreshed edition includes a mix of bold, classic, and trendy patterns for boys, girls, and women. From cargo trousers and skirts to sweet bow blouses and stylish pleated trousers, there’s something for everyone.
One unisex favourite is the Sam Sweater: a super soft cargo sweater with cool pockets on the sleeves. Choose a soft sweat or jogger fabric, and we’re sure it’ll become a wardrobe staple.
For women, we have a range of timeless patterns, including Trousers Rosine, Jacket Raven, and Top Yara. Top Yara is a versatile basic that pairs well with any outfit. It’s a quick sew and will likely become a go-to pattern! Combine these three for a complete look.
Sewing Patterns in All Sizes
We’re thrilled to expand our range of women’s patterns, now making them accessible to a broader audience. Starting with sizes S-XXL in Poppy, we moved to 36-46 in Pommé, and now we’re pleased to offer select patterns up to size 52! This way, we ensure everyone can create stylish, personalised pieces.
